I bought this to teach my 8 year old son about morals and good character because I know they don't have much time for this in school. It's working great and I feel more confident because I now have a systematic way to explore these areas.

My K-3 lesson collection has 20 "learning objectives" and many ways to teach each one. My son loves the worksheets and we are doing one a week. Some of them seemed simple for him, so I bought the older lesson book, also. I can't think of another parenting book that helped me as much as this one.

I can honestly see why this program won a Presidental Award. The curriculum is highly informative and professional with a fresh approach that really reaches kids.

It teaches that kids with knowledge gain confidence and a stronger ability to lead positive, productive lives. This program covers it all;good manners, friendship, sharing, team work, following rules, problem solving, decision making, drug awareness, refusal skills, and earth skills.

The lesson plans are easy to use and the kids love the worksheets. The whole program is EXCELLENT!!

MDM was a perfect fit for me and my two sons. I'm a single dad and our time together is precious. I want to have a good influence on them and make my time with them count. Since we started talking about these character topics together they fight less and we all get along better. I can tell that this is a (professional) teacher's book for classrooms but it is still easy for me to use most of the lesson. I wanted a way to help me connect with my boys and understand them. This is it!

This little book gave me what I needed to become more active in teaching my two children the positive skills I know they need to get ahead in life. Just doing the first worksheet together (I picked one on household duties) I saw how much we could learn by just talking together on these specific topics. Their mom and I both work and it used to be hard to figure out how to create quality learning time with our son and daughter. This lesson collection gives us hundreds of ideas to choose from, and they give fun ways to learn that aren't preachy or difficult. The result is that this book opened up new lines of communication between us and our children. Thank you.

Great lessons. Easy for parents to work with, and fun for kids to learn from. I strongly suggest this to anyone looking to supplement their child's education with lessons that pertain to this world.
